Clark Heating and Cooling blog

Clark Heat and Cool is a Phoenix, Arizona based HVAC specialty service company and this blog is to help keep their client, and prospective clients, up to date with changes in the HVAC industry.

Reducting your AC unit

It's no secret that Phoenix experiences severe weather in the summer, and your HVAC unit has to work hard to keep up. To make it easier on your unit, we offer whole-house re-ducting. This is where the home is evaluated for any air flow issues or "hot spots," such as that one room you have which never seems to cool down. Also, the ductwork is evaluated to ensure proper sizing, installation, and efficiency of the AC unit which can be impacted by duct sizing.

Having proper size ductwork not only helps maximize your unit's efficiency and longevity, but it also maximizes balanced comfort in the house, provides proper air flow, and maximizes proper filtration, meaning you can now use highly rated filters to be able to breathe cleaner, healthier air in the home. In addition, it allows the AC unit to cycle on and off properly as designed, so you consume less electricity.

If you have a room or area in your home which seems to always be hot or uncomfortable please give us a call!

We offer a full evaluation for $55 and will provide a solution for your home and personal needs.
